The call for structured sessions was opened mid October 2021. Proposals within the wide field of acoustics are welcome, with special encouragement to consider efforts that help meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Many of the efforts in acoustics contribute to the better development of the space we live in, improve health and environment, and in reducing adverse effects of undesired sound. With the promotion of the UN SDGs we aim to strengthen the attention to the solutions offered by professionals in the field of acoustics.
Mid August, terms were finalized with Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center as the venue for the conference. This is the same venue as for the Forum Acusticum 2011. The main area will be Europahallen, where keynotes and posters will be presented. Meals will be served in the adjacent foyer, where exhibition options are arranged. Parallel sessions will be hosted in lecture rooms on 1st floor in close proximity to the main area.

In July 2021, the EAA board decided that the EuroRegio 2021 would integrate the Baltic-Nordic Acoustical Meeting, which in 2021 is hosted by the Danish Acoustical Society . “The BNAM meetings were an inspiration for the development of the EuroRegio concept”, said former EEA president Michael Vorländer in support of the bid. The conference will be held in Aalborg with professional support from VisitAalborg.
